In addition to being ranked world no. 3, Nakamura is a well-known YouTuber with 2.67 million subscribers.

He is recognized for promoting chess through game analysis and informative videos.Nakamura typically shares his weekly streaming schedule, including the topic and publication time. While he usually lists timings for Eastern US and Central Europe, this time he included Indian Standard Time as well.

“Added India out of respect,” Nakamura posted. The update from the American GM is seen as a tribute to Gukesh’s achievement, which has elevated India’s presence on the global chess stage.

Gukesh triumphed over China’s Ding Liren in the World Chess Championship match in Singapore, becoming the youngest champion in history.
