Ingram Micro Promotes Sanjib Sahoo to President of Global Platform Group
Ingram Micro Holding Corporation, a leader in the global technology ecosystem, has announced the promotion of Sanjib Sahoo to President of its Global Platform Group. A recognized business and digital leader, Sahoo will drive the company’s vision to evolve into a premier business-to-business (B2B) platform company.
Sahoo will continue to oversee the development and deployment of Xvantage™, Ingram Micro’s patent-pending B2B technology platform. This innovative platform and operating model aim to simplify interactions between customers and vendors, creating more value and efficiency.

Originally from Kolkata, Sahoo has carved out a significant presence in Silicon Valley, earning a reputation as an Indian-American visionary. He has spearheaded numerous groundbreaking digital transformation initiatives, blending technical expertise with business insight to shape the future of global technology distribution.
A Harvard Business School alumnus, Sahoo’s achievements have earned him several industry accolades, including the Trendsetter of the Industry award at the India 2030 Leadership Conclave, the Bharat Samman Award, and ASIAOne Person of the Year. The Economic Times also recognized him as a Global Icon for Technology.
Since joining Ingram Micro in 2021 as Executive Vice President of Global Technology and Chief Digital Officer, Sahoo has led the development of Xvantage. By streamlining B2B transactions, Xvantage has significantly improved the digital experience within the industry.
