OnePlus has officially announced that the OnePlus 13R will launch globally on January 7, 2025, alongside the OnePlus 13
On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 13R will launch alongside the OnePlus 13 on January 7 in India. The OnePlus 13 series will also debut the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 wireless earbuds on the same day.
The OnePlus 13R is confirmed to feature a 6,000 mAh battery and will be available in Nebula Noir and Astral Trail color options. According to the company, the device will use Gorilla Glass 7i on both the front and back.
Both devices in the OnePlus 13 series will come with triple-camera systems on the rear, the company announced.
The OnePlus 13 series will introduce new generative AI features, including Intelligent Search and AI-powered photography tools.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 13 is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and the newly launched OxygenOS 15. The company has yet to reveal the chipset that will be used in the OnePlus 13R.
Additionally, OnePlus has claimed that the OnePlus 13 is the first device from the brand to achieve both IP68 and IP69 ratings.
The company has also revealed that the OnePlus 13 will be available in Black Eclipse, Arctic Dawn, and Midnight Ocean color options.
