The BWF World Tour Super 750 event will take place at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall at Indira Gandhi Stadium from January 14 to 19.
With a prize pool of $950,000 and 11,000 ranking points up for grabs, the India Open Super 750 will feature 21 Indian entries: three in men’s singles, four in women’s singles, two in men’s doubles, eight in women’s doubles, and four in mixed doubles.
In the previous two Super 750 editions, India had 14 entries, with Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy reaching the men’s doubles final, and HS Prannoy making the men’s singles semifinals in 2024.
India will also look to Lakshya Sen, the 2022 men’s singles champion, and two-time Olympic medallist P.V. Sindhu to contend for the title.
The men’s singles draw will be missing just two players from the top 20, while the women’s singles will feature 14 of the top 20 players.
