Neeraj Parakh Appointed CEO of Reliance Power for Three-Year Term
Reliance Power announced on Monday the appointment of Neeraj Parakh as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 20, for a tenure of three years. The company disclosed this development in an exchange filing.
Parakh’s appointment as Executive Director and CEO is subject to shareholder approval, the filing noted. Additionally, the company confirmed that he is not related to any of its directors.
Having joined the Reliance Group in June 2004, Parakh initially served as an additional manager in the Central Technical Services team at Reliance Infrastructure (Reliance Infra). Over the years, he transitioned from roles in planning, project monitoring, and execution to operations and maintenance across both Reliance Power and Reliance Infra.
“His expertise includes managing complex regulatory and tax-related matters, ensuring the Reliance Group remains compliant across various domains while facilitating seamless project operations,” the company stated.
