Previously, Parekh served as Apple’s Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and held various other key roles, overseeing financial planning, investor relations, and market research. Reports suggest that Parekh is likely to earn an eight-figure salary in his new position.
Salary of Apple CFO Kevan Parekh
As Apple’s CFO, Kevan Parekh is expected to earn an annual salary of $1 million (approximately ₹8.57 crore). His appointment was officially confirmed in August 2024.
“Mr. Parekh’s salary was increased to $1 million starting January 1, 2025, and he is also eligible for participation in the Apple Executive Cash Incentive Plan for fiscal year 2025, with a target opportunity of 175% of his base salary, based on his tenure in the role,” Apple Inc. stated in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, praised Parekh, calling him an “indispensable member of Apple’s finance leadership team” with a sharp intellect, wise judgment, and financial brilliance, making him the perfect choice for the CFO role.
Kevan Parekh’s Career at Apple
Parekh joined Apple in 2013 and played a vital role in shaping the company’s financial strategies and business plans, particularly in product development. In addition to his role as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, he also served as Vice President of Worldwide Finance Support. These positions allowed him to oversee various functions, including Engineering, iTunes, Marketing, Retail, and Sales.
Education and Early Career
Before joining Apple, Parekh worked at Thomson Reuters and General Motors, focusing on regions across Europe and Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago. With over 20 years of experience in global finance leadership, Parekh’s extensive career has positioned him as a key player at major companies.
